Fact or Fiction? Fat Burning Soup Diet
I wrote an article about the Fat Burning Soup Diet. There are slight variations of this diet which includes cabbage. Mind you, I didn't put cabbage in my soup. Also know you should always check with your doctor before going on any diet program. With that said, I have read how this diet affects each of us differently. One person said they lost weight and then gained it all back and more a month later; some lost the weight and maintained. Some claim it's all in your head!
The fat burning soup is a one week diet (seven days) and one can lose anywhere from 10-17 pounds. Now, that is considered a lot of weight to lose in one week and instead of being helpful, it is actually dangerous. You could also become malnourished because of the restricted type of foods you can consume each day.
Is there such a thing as fat burning foods? There are foods that are in low calories. Some of these foods include broccoli, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery, apple, strawberry and green beans. The ingredients in the soup contain some of the food listed here. When you eat this soup or these foods that are low in calories, you burn more calories to digest than the calories in the food. The body also have to work harder to get the calories from these foods, thus the term fat burning. This effectively helps you increase your metabolism, burn calories and lose weight.
